Townsville Airport – Domestic and International terminal

As North Queensland’s regional hub, Townsville Airport provides direct flights to and from Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin. The international terminal provides direct flights to and from Bali and Port Moresby. There are several transportation options to get you where you need to go. Cardwell Visitor and Heritage Centre

Cardwell Visitor and Heritage Centre is located on the Bruce Highway at the address is 53 Victoria Street, Cardwell. Heading North into Cardwell turn left into Balliol Street for plenty of parking. This is a historic precinct set in the old 'Cardwell Telegraph and Post Office' (now known as the Bush Telegraph) which was built in 1870 and is one of the oldest buildings in North Queensland.

Burdekin Gateway Visitor Information Centre

The Burdekin Gateway Visitor Information Centre is located on Railway Avenue in Home Hill. Situated behind the Home Hill Comfort Stop, it's the ideal place to call in when first arriving in town. The friendly and knowledgeable local staff can provide advice on what to see and do, and where to eat in the Burdekin.
