Hike through sub-tropical rainforest and walk beside meandering creeks, then set up your tent and camp under the stars.

Get your thrills on a roller coaster or meet your favourite cartoon characters at a theme park, discover the magic of glow worms after dark at the Natural Bridge in the Springbrook National Park, and gather the gang together around a big table for street food at the Miami Marketta market. Beechmont

Life's a beach, (or should that be beech?), for the laid-back residents in this quaint country village which sits smugly between the Lamington Plateau and Tamborine Mountain. First settlers flocked to the area in the 1800s and used the white beech trees, once prolific here, for timber.

The park includes Witches Falls (which in 1908 became Queensland's first national park) and Cedar Grove, The Knoll and Palm Grove sections.
