Join Master Screenprinter William Wakefield to learn the basics of screen printing onto fabric and design and print your own fabric, tea-towel or t-shirt.

Shaped plate intaglio workshop delivered by Paul Bong, Bindur Bullin. Paul is a descendant of the Yidinji tribe of the Cairns region. He began training as a printmaker in 1992 at Studio One in Canberra and is an InkMaster of longstanding. Paul’s own work is informed by his indigenous heritage but is contemporary in style.
Intaglio is a printing process that uses an etched or scored plate. This workshop will introduce the classical techniques of intaglio - etching, aquatint and drypoint. While non-traditional tools will be utilised to create found object impressions, textures and tones, for example hammers, a dremel tool and wire brushes. Paul will wield his angle grinder to your specifications!
