Woodgate Beach Tourist Park offers both camping and caravan sites and a range of onsite accommodation set along 16 kilometres of breathtaking coastline approximately 350 kilometres north of Brisbane.

The park offers large sunny and shady tent and caravan sites set amongst nine acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. They also have a wide range of accommodation to suit individual styles and budgets. Choose from their Beachfront Houses and Villas with water views, Deluxe Villas or One/Two Bedroom Cabins. All accommodation is self-catering.

The park caters for those wishing to enjoy a tranquil beachside holiday where you can relax, unwind and experience nature at its best. The beach is protected by Fraser Island providing safe swimming in the calm ocean waters all year round.

The tourist park itself is located on the Esplanade and is nestled between a stunning white sandy beach and 23,000 hectares of National Park. Directly behind the park is a National Park boardwalk. The nearby Burrum River and Theodolite Creek (both with boat ramps) are just a few minutes away and are popular with fishing enthusiasts.

Their unique position makes Woodgate Beach Tourist Park one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Fraser Coast.

The region is known for the Black-breasted Button-quail and Glossy Black-Cockatoo, but expect to see the likes of the Red-rumped Parrot, Regent Bowerbird, Rainbow Bee-eater, Dollarbird and Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater too.

Benarkin State Forest on the Blackbutt Range is a great spot to picnic, fish, spot platypus or hike or ride on forest trails. From the D'Aguilar Highway an unsealed 16 kilometre scenic forest drive leads through rainforest, hoop pine plantations and eucalypt forests containing blackbutt, tallowwood, white mahogany, gums and ironbarks to small flats beside the inviting waters of Emu Creek.

Blackbutt

Blackbutt is an attractive small town surrounded by native forests. Situated on the D'Aguilar Highway, at the southern entrance to the South Burnett. 'Blackbutt' is the common name for the Eucalyptus Piluralis tree, native to the area.
