Sandcastles offers a variety of one bedroom self-contained apartments that are serviced daily. The apartments are comfortable with a separate bedroom to the main living area, and a balcony with furniture to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze. Most apartments have a view to Mooloolaba's surf beach. There are also top floor apartments, which have a private rooftop area with a barbecue and outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy the fantastic ocean views.

At Sandcastles you can relax by the heated pool and spa or barbecue poolside. There is a lift to all levels and the friendly staff are on hand to offer any local advice on tours and entertainment, which can be booked directly from reception.

Older style apartment with small or restricted ocean views on first and second floor. Good affordable accommodation that are available for one night stays. These apartments have not yet undergone a full refurbishment but are clean and comfortable with a separate bedroom with queen bed to the main living area. In each apartment there are ceiling fans, air-conditioning, Foxtel and free to air television, in room laundry with washing machine and dryer and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a microwave oven, cook tops, full size fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and cooking utensils. Each apartment has a balcony with furniture to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Apartments are serviced daily.

These apartments have Beach, Park or Ocean or canal views. Apartments are located on levels one, two and three of the four storey building. These apartments have undergone some refurbishment, are comfortable with a separate bedroom to the main living area. In each apartment there is air-conditioning, free cable television, in room laundry with washing machine and dryer and a kitchenette. The kitchenette has a microwave oven, cook tops, full size fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and cooking utensils. Each apartment has a balcony with furniture to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. Apartments are serviced daily.

Ocean View Rooftop apartments are located on level four and have their own private rooftop deck area with a barbecue and furniture to enjoy the stunning ocean views. The rooftop is accessed by a spiral staircase off the balcony. These apartments are comfortable with a separate bedroom to the main living area. In each apartment there is air-conditioning, free cable television, in room laundry with washing machine and dryer and a kitchenette. Tregole National Park

Hell Hole Gorge National Park

Hell Hole Gorge is part of the Powell plateau which forms part of the Grey Range. The deeply incised Powell Creek with steep, dissected escarpments and vertical cliffs up to 45 metres high drains through the centre of the area along with the smaller Spencers and Gorge Creek.

Mt Slowcombe Lookout

Morven is fortunate to be situated on the Great Artesian Basin, ensuring the town of a constant and reliable water supply. The water is approximately two million years old, and really did run off the backs of dinosaurs!

With a population of less than 250, Morven is thought to be named after a mountain and town of the same name in Scotland. Captain T.J. Saddlier and his wife arrived in the area in the 1860s and camped on a deep waterhole of nearby Hamburg Creek.
