You can fish from one of the four private jetties and there are four pools to choose from (including lagoon style pool, wading pool and heated pool). There are kayaks for hire and if you are bringing your own boat, the secure boat moorings mean that you can park your boat safely right in front of your townhouse.

With a population of less than 250, Morven is thought to be named after a mountain and town of the same name in Scotland. Captain T.J. Saddlier and his wife arrived in the area in the 1860s and camped on a deep waterhole of nearby Hamburg Creek.
