Blackwattle Farm is situated on 20 acres of farmland at the base of the beautiful Glass House Mountains on the Sunshine Coast. It is only 10 minutes to Australia Zoo, 20 minutes from the beaches and hinterland., and less than an hour from Brisbane airport.

They provide two types of accommodation, queen suite and self contained cabins, catering for couples, solo travelers, families and groups of friends. They have a variety of farm animals including miniature pigs, alpaccas, dexter cows, and chickens. All guests are welcome to help them feed the animals in the afternoons, and have full access to the farm and gardens.

They provide breakfast with local produce and homemade jams, and can organise barbecue packs and other meals upon request. It is very private and quiet, and is the perfect place to stay to simply relax, or use a base to explore the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Emma and Mark look forward to your stay with them there at the farm.

Festival of the Wind

Festival of the Wind is a free family day out and is based on the art of kite flying. On the day there will be plenty of beach games, competitions, market stalls, rides and entertainment. The Festival is held every year with a theme of enjoying everything to do with the wind.
