Binna Burra Lodge is under one hour's drive from the Gold Coast and just 90 minutes from Brisbane, the rainforest of Lamington National Park sprawls like a rich emerald carpet across the spurs and valleys of the McPherson Ranges.

Let nature weave it's magic and be rejuvenated amidst the lush rainforest of world heritage listed Lamington National Park. Binna Burra Lodge has been welcoming guests since the early 1930s and while the cabins have been updated with modern amenities, there are no phones, clocks, radios or television to intrude on the serenity.

The Sky Lodges are a modern alternate to the traditional Mountain Lodge and provide luxury self-contained accommodation with breathtaking views across the Numinbah and Coomera Valleys.

Our Rooms

Sky Lodges at Binna Burra are a luxury self-contained alternative with outstanding views across the Coomera and Numinbah Valleys. Choose from either a Studio, 1, 2 or 3 bedroom apartment.

Acacia rooms are en-suite and have either rainforest views or commanding views of the Coomera Valley. Each has its own private balcony.

Casuarina Cabins were built in 1934 and still retain their charm and character. They are made from hand-cut tallow-wood slabs and are heritage listed. The cabins sleep two to six people and rollaways are available. Each room has a vanity unit, and other bathroom facilities are shared with approximately nine other rooms.

Situated on the northern side of Hook Island, Maureen's Cove is a popular anchorage with sailors and divers alike. There are two dive sites at Maureen's Cove. At the back of the cove, on the western side of the beach is a series of bommies starting at 12 - 15 metres and rising to within three metres of the surface, parallel to the shoreline.

Arguably the best dive site in the Whitsundays, with hard corals comparing favourably to those seen on the outer Great Barrier Reef. The best dive is off the western beach, adjacent to the Woodpile and swim east at a depth of seven to 15 metres.
