Whitsunday Crocodile Safari is a safe, all-weather nature excursion which takes guests to see crocodiles in the wild in the Whitsundays.

This is a nature based tour which enables guests to explore the estuaries and wetlands of the Whitsundays and to discover the vegetation and wildlife in these unique habitats.

The safari is set to the background sounds of nature and gives the impression you are miles from civilisation, deep in the Australian bush, even though you are only 5 minutes from Proserpine and 30 minutes from Airlie Beach.

Experiences on the tour include cruising the calm waters of Proserpine River, exploring Goorganga Plains on a tractor-drawn wagon train, enjoying a huge barbecue lunch and traditional billy tea and damper, which is all prepared onsite. Your tour also includes courtesy transfers from most accommodation houses and bus stops throughout Airlie Beach, Cannonvale and Proserpine.

Whitsunday Crocodile Safari has been operating for 17 years and is a family owned, professionally operated tour, guaranteeing excellent customer service and a memorable nature experience for guests.

There is more to the Whitsundays than just reef and islands. Estuaries and wetlands skirt the coastline near Proserpine River which is home to many species of native birds, mammals, reptiles and marine animals.

Whitsunday Crocodile Safari provides a very unique "Australian Nature Experience". Operating from their campsite base, which is established on the bank of Proserpine River, guests can cruise in pristine crocodile habitat, explore a mangrove ecosystem and travel through a melaleuca forest and freshwater wetland environment.

They offer guests a professional, well managed (all weather) day tour with expert commentary, delicious barbecue lunch and traditional Australian Billy Tea and Damper.

The campsite features a covered seating area with tables and toilet facilities and complementary cold water and refreshments are also available.

As an owner-operated tour, excellent customer service and attention to detail is guaranteed.
