Seven beautiful cottages nestle in established formal gardens that change seasonally yet maintain their beauty and perfumes all year and host a variety of birdlife. Situated in the small village of Ballandean just south of Stanthorpe. Views across the Ballandean valley to the Roberts Ranges they are perfectly positioned for visiting the Granite Belts premier wineries, of which there are now more than 50 and for enjoying Girraween and Sundown National Parks.

Relax in comfort in cosy, private cottages with a choice of room and facility options that are serviced daily. Quality beds, complimentary Lanovera toiletries, in-house dvd's, games, books and Wifi. The guest lounge has an open fire, comfortable chairs and bar.

Vineyard Cottages is one of the few Stanthorpe accommodation retreats to boast its own licensed restaurant. A Granite Belt institution it is housed in the old Presbyterian church building dating from 1906 and still featuring the original coloured glass windows. Enjoy the taste of freshly harvested, local produce prepared by their resident chef for their seasonal menus.

The Vineyard Cafe / Restaurant features produce and wines of the Stanthorpe / Granite Belt and other regions of Australia.

King Terrace

Supremely comfortable accommodation with a King bed, sofa and armchair, separate kitchenette and ensuite bathroom (two with a single spa bath as well as a walk in shower).

2 Bedroom

Ideal for small groups - four singles, two couples or a family. A delightful cottage with timber lined raked ceilings and exposed beams. The upstairs bedroom with dormer windows has both a Queen bed and a single bed and ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there is a Queen bedroom, bathroom and lounge room with a verandah across the front of the cottage.

Queen Cottage

Very private cottages, perfect for a romantic anniversary or honeymoon getaway with classic colonial furnishings, private verandah, a separate living room and double spa bath in the ensuite bathroom.

King Terrace (Disabled)

Supremely comfortable accommodation with a King bed, sofa and armchair, separate kitchenette and ensuite. Designed for disabled at ground level with suitable bathroom facilities and wheel chair access with adjacent parking. Restaurant has additional ramp entry.

Gardners Falls

Leave your vehicle in the car park on the banks of the Obi Obi Creek and take a short, level walk downstream to Gardners Falls.  You’ll pass a number of shallow rock pools which are ideal for smaller children who just want to splash about.

Curtis Falls, Joalah Section

Located in Hardy Reef, Heart Reef is best experienced from the air by helicopter or seaplane, as visitors are unable to snorkel or dive there due it's protected status.

Bladensburg National Park

Bladensburg National Park is a large park protecting Mitchell grass downs and channel country. It is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife, including tiny mammals called dunnarts. Flat-topped mesas and sandstone ranges form a pleasing backdrop to the park's grassland plains and river flats.

Ngaro Cultural Site
