Hotshot specialises in Blue and Black Marlin, Sailfish and pelagic species such as Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel and all Tuna species.

Our tours

Gold Coast Full Day Trips  December through August

Blue and black marlin fishing off the beautiful waters of the Gold Coast. All inclusive day charters, leaving from The Spit Pontoon Muriel Henchman Drive, Main Beach (off Sea World Drive) Departure is at 6.30am and they return to the same location at 5pm. Plenty of free parking is available. All tackle from light to heavy is included as well as snacks and lunch. Bring your own alcohol.

Richmond

Lake Moondarra is situated just 17 kilometres north of the city centre of Mount Isa. It provides water to the city and the adjacent Mount Isa Mines (MIM) mining lease. Access to the lake is by a sealed road and offers a picturesque shoreline drive.

McKinlay

Mckinlay, McKinlay Area
Located 104 kilometres south east of Cloncurry, McKinlay was named after the McKinlay River which was discovered and named by the explorer John McKinlay. McKinlay had arrived in New South Wales in 1836 and by 1861 had become such an adept bushman that he was chosen to lead the South Australian Burke Relief Expedition to search for the missing Burke and Wills.

Mount Surprise

Mount Surprise, Etheridge Area
Mount Surprise is a railway town on the Cairns to Forsayth Railway and is the first town within the Gulf Savannah encountered by visitors approaching from the east. It is a centre for gem fossicking, with quantities of topaz, quartz, spinel, garnet, cairngorm and aquamarine to be found.

Kynuna

Kynuna, McKinlay Area
Kynuna was established in the 1860s and in its early days boasted three hotels. It was a staging post for Cobb and Co Coaches. Today Kynuna has just one hotel, the famous Blue Heeler Hotel which was built in 1889.
