The Whitsundays | Accommodation

The best way to see all of The Whitsundays might be on a yacht, but there are heaps of dry-land accommodation offers that will have you sailing through your holiday with a smile on your face.

Families flock to Hamilton Island to take advantage of the holiday packages that are offered as well as the amount of activities for little ones. From self-catering apartments and holiday homes to luxury resorts, you'll find accommodation options suited to your holiday needs.

Many of the resorts on the Whitsunday Islands also offer kids clubs, which parents know are worth their weight in gold when you’re on holiday.

Don’t look past Airlie Beach as a family friendly or budget option either. As a main port-of-call for tours and activities, the town and marina are always buzzing with activity and restaurant and entertainment options are plentiful and at your fingertips. Backpackers have their choice of at least half a dozen hostels in the area and families can choose between Airlie Beach caravan parks with cabins and camping, or resorts.
