UMI Arts Big Talk One Fire Indigenous Cultural Festival

UMI Arts' annual event is a free, community celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, primarily from the Far North Queensland region.

Starting in the afternoon and going through until the evening, visitors can enjoy Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dancing, music, storytelling and performance by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of the Far North Queensland region.

There will also be an array of Indigenous art and craft market stalls where visitors can meet, talk to and learn about each item, from the Indigenous cultural practitioner or craftsperson who has made each piece.

Celebrate the talent and diversity of the Indigenous people from Far North Queensland at UMI Arts Big Talk One Fire Indigenous Cultural Festival.

This is a free, family-friendly event with all welcome! This event is 100 per cent drug and alcohol free.
