Pristine white beaches. Crystal clear waters. A breathtaking mountainous interior. Hamilton Island is best known as a place to relax. But it is also the perfect place to push yourself in paradise.

The Hamilton Island Endurance series spans four endurance events. The Stamford Financial Hamilton Hilly Half Marathon, Great Whitehaven Beach Run, Hamilton Island Triathlon and Hamilton Island Whitehaven Beach Ocean Swim will test athletes on every level. Do them all or just do one. Race Hard. Recover Harder.

What better location for an ocean swim event than at one of Australia's most pristine and iconic beaches, Whitehaven Beach. The annual event includes a two kilometre and 750 metre meet, plus a fun 350 metre junior swim, and is a proud partner of the Great Australian Swim Series, founded by Ky Hurst.

Forsayth

Eungella

An hour west of Mackay, in the rainforest-clad mountains lies Eungella National Park and the township of Eungella, at the head of the Pioneer Valley. Australia's longest, oldest stretch of sub-tropical rainforest, ranging over 51,700 hectares, the park draws its name from an Aboriginal word meaning 'Land of the Clouds'.
