Individual athleticism and skill, combined with teamwork and tactics will have Basketball crowds cheering and chanting all over Queensland. With four captivating quarters of end-to end action each match, spectators will witness sporting entertainment like nothing else.

The men’s and women’s Basketball competition will be staged at magnificent indoor arenas in Cairns, Townsville and the Gold Coast, enabling fans far and wide to experience Basketball at its best. Each competing nation will be represented by up to 12 players rotating in this on-court battle for Commonwealth supremacy. Amongst them will be some of the world’s best players ready to display their talents defending, rebounding, dribbling, dunking, shooting and scoring.
