Springbrook Lyrebird Retreat's luxury cabins and cottages provide privacy and seclusion for couples in a romantic setting deep in subtropical rainforest. Each cabin and cottage has a deck extending into the forest providing an outdoor setting with a barbecue. A short drive takes you to World Heritage Rainforests in Springbrook National Park with its many walking track, waterfalls and spectacular lookouts. Or you may choose to enjoy the village atmosphere and visit the cafes, craft shops or the famous Fudge Shop. But the setting is so beautiful and peaceful, you may prefer to simply relax in your cabin or cottage in luxurious seclusion surrounded by nature.
The Retreat is run as a non-profit venture by Australian Rainforest Conservation Society Inc and all profits go to restoring World Heritage rainforest.

Our Rooms

The Rosella is a new cabin, with large rear deck immersed in the rainforest, fireplace, double spa bath and separate shower, great seclusion, peace and tranquility.

The Pitta is the newest, most secluded cabin, deep within the rainforest and contains a fireplace, double spa bath and separate shower surrounded by large windows and views to the forest and a deck with stairs into the forest.

The Lyrebird Cottages are spacious and cosy with fireplace and an extra large settee for relaxing and reading. The Lyrebird Cottages contain a rear deck, double spa bath, high ceilings and large windows, with light airy loft reaching into the rainforest canopy.

The Bowerbird Cottage is spacious and cosy with a fireplace, double spa bath, picturesque rear deck, high ceiling, large windows, and a loft adds extra charm.
