Daintree Eco Lodge and Spa is situated in the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, adjacent to the majestic Daintree River. The property is south of the Daintree River (Cairns side) and easily accessible needing no Four Wheel Drive or ferry crossing.

They are 110 kilometres north of Cairns (90 minutes) and 45 kilometres north of Port Douglas (40 minutes) with all travel on sealed roads.

Lagoon Bayan

The lodge offers a total of 6 Lagoon Bayans all with views over the natural lily pond and the restaurant. The micro-screened balcony gives you the opportunity to sleep with your doors wide open to immerse yourself in the wild rainforest around you.

Features: 56 square metres, canopy king-bed, micro-screened balcony, en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, seating area, bathrobes and slippers and traditional Aboriginal art work.

Rainforest Bayan

The lodge offers a total of 2 Rainforest Bayans both with views into the wild rainforest. Enjoy a glass of bubbles as you relax into your freestanding bathtub on your private balcony or simply sit and relax, taking in the sights and sounds of the rainforest around you. These bayans offer more privacy, with the bathtub on the balcony they are perfect for that romantic weekend away.

Hope Islands National Park

Accessible on a day trip from Cairns, Jorgey's Patch features a variety of terrains for divers to explore, including bommies, ridges, gutters and ledges. In depths between 10 and 25 metres, divers will find an abundance of reef fish on this reef, including fusiliers, angelfish, wrasses, anemone fish and rock cods.

Barracuda Bommie Dive Site

With a name like Barracuda Bommie you would expect to see barracuda at this dive site, and fortunately it rarely disappoints. Located on the Agincourt Reefs, off Port Douglas, Barracuda Bommie is a giant pinnacle of coral that rises from the sandy sea floor at 26 metres.

The Oasis Dive Site

Divers exploring The Oasis at Milln Reef, off Cairns, have a choice of exploring coral gardens in the shallows or a series of bommies in deeper water. The bommies are quite spectacular, rising from 20 to 30 metres and coloured by beautiful whip corals, soft corals and gorgonians.
