The beautiful Gold Coast beaches, Q1 at Surfers Paradise, the Broadwater, Sea World are just some of the other major attractions approximately 20 minutes drive. Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from at the nearby Westfield, less than five minutes drive. Harbour Town factory outlets about 10 minutes drive.

Currimundi is located on the northern boundary of the Caloundra area of the Sunshine Coast. It was named by Sir Leslie Wilson, using the local aboriginal name for the area, Garrimundi or Girrimundi, meaning 'Place of flying foxes'.
