Daintree Experience

Perfect for Nature Lovers.

Flora and Fauna are the major focus for this tour encompassing the best of Mossman Gorge and Lower Daintree Region. The Daintree is an area of ancient tropical rainforest spanning 120,000 hectares, making it the largest portion of tropical rainforest in Australia. Walk the 2.5 kilometre quiet track to witness the complex ecosystems in this World Heritage Area and swim in the incredible fresh water gorge.

At the Daintree Tea House, lunch has an exotic theme. The outside dining area is beautiful and exclusive with views of the tropical rainforest and continuous sounds of birds and nature.

After lunch travel to the Daintree River for the Wildlife Cruise. The surroundings are full of opportunities to observe and photograph some of the most primitive forms of animal and plant life in the world. Most days they experience great bird life and crocodile activity.

Tablelands and Crater Lakes

On this spectacular Tablelands adventure, they visit the ancient Cathedral Fig Tree. An 800 year old relic of the flora kingdom. Learn about the intricate life story of the Giant Fig while enjoying morning chorus. Over 120 birds can be found and heard in the area.

Travelling on to Lake Barrine for some beautiful morning tea, your guide will take you on a journey through the lakeside rainforest. Enjoy a one hour lake cruise for more wildlife opportunities. Listen out for their Bird of Paradise, the Victoria’s Rifle Bird and many other elusive creatures.

They continue on their way for a delicious seafood lunch and some Platypus spotting!

To finish off the day, they take in the fantastic panoramas of Milla Milla lookout and a nice long swim or simply relax at Lake Eacham, often a highlight and a pleasant cool off. Returning to Cairns approximately 5.30pm.

Cairns Hiking Experience

The only guided Hiking Experience in Cairns! Don’t expect to see much traffic on the walk! Perfect right? Beautiful Lamb Range is an hour drive west of Cairns and towers high above the Dinden National Park surrounds.

Expect an early start! They like to begin their hikes while the birds are singing and their wildlife are becoming active.

The track consists of open woodland, giant gum trees, savanna habitat and beautiful iconic Xanthorrhoea grass trees. As you gain height you’ll notice abrupt granite boulders coursing the summit area, providing spectacular scenery.

They will provide their guests with snacks and fruit to keep your energy high while on the hike. On your return from the walk, you’ll travel a short distance to Davies Creek for your picnic lunch and a swim!

The trail is a 10 kilometre experience of a lifetime. The Rainforest habitat near the summit with it’s beautiful Oraniopis palms and Cycads will amaze you! Experience the smells and sounds of the ancient Wet Tropical Rainforest.

They have access to several mountain ranges to allow guests of all fitness levels the opportunity to enjoy their Hiking Tour.

Nobby is home to Rudd's Pub, dedicated to author Steele Rudd, who found inspiration among his drinking partners for his stories in On Our Selection and is a great place to stop for a meal with the pub walls adorned with an extensive display of historic memorabilia and photographs of the area's pioneering past.
