Bundy Food Tours offers visitors a unique opportunity to meet passionate farmers of the Bundaberg region, whose produce feeds the nation. Visit their farms and hear their generational family farming stories.

See the diversity of produce grown in the area beyond sugar cane including macadamia nuts, sweet potatoes, figs, tomatoes, passionfruit, dragon fruit, limes, ginger, chilies, strawberries and flowers. Bundaberg may be famous for rum and brewed soft drink but Suzie will introduce you to local beer brewers, distillers of award winning gin and coffee roasters.

Travel in air-conditioned comfort through the beautiful patchwork of volcanic soil farms to the blue coastal waters of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. This tour is extremely informative with visits to several different farms. You will sample fresh produce, enjoy paddock to plate experiences while visiting the regions culinary hotspots with your host Suzie, who recently graduated with a Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism.

Bundy Food Tours

Bundy Food Tours gives you a behind the scenes tour on farms, into traditional butcher shops and seafood specialists in the Bundaberg region. These small guided food tours offer an extraordinary opportunity for you to meet large and small food producers and hear their family farming stories from second to fourth generation. You will learn about the diversity of produce grown in the area from sweet potatoes to dragon fruit and strawberries to macadamia nuts, sometimes all on the same family farm.

You will travel in air-conditioned comfort through the beautiful patchwork of volcanic soil farms to the blue coastal waters of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. This tour is extremely informative with visits to several different farms and a picnic along the way. You will sample fresh produce, collect tips from your culinary specialist host Suzie Clarke and find out about all the local food hotspots. Suzie has 30 years’ experience in food, both cooking and teaching and recently graduated with a Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism.

At the end of your tour Suzie would be happy to recommend Indulge Café for lunch or book you a table at Grunskes by the River for a seafood feast.

Natural Bridge is in the western part of Springbrook National Park, part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. The park's Natural Bridge section features a picturesque rock formation, formed by the force of the waterfall over the basalt cave.

Life's a beach, (or should that be beech?), for the laid-back residents in this quaint country village which sits smugly between the Lamington Plateau and Tamborine Mountain. First settlers flocked to the area in the 1800s and used the white beech trees, once prolific here, for timber.
