Bash Break on Brolga 2020

Back to the 40s - Big Band and Dance

‘Back to the 40s’ will celebrate Cloncurry, and the Outback’s, unique role as a military base of operations during World War 2. Cloncurry was an important base and refuelling stop for United States B-17 Flying Fortresses, Dutch forces evacuating Java, and Australian forces.

Barcaldine Tree of Knowledge Festival

The Barcaldine Tree of Knowledge Festival is Barcaldine’s largest event, both in terms of visitation and community participation. This year the event will showcase the community spirit and history of Barcaldine and Outback Queensland.

CT 4x4 Club Come and Try Day allows novice and experienced drivers an area to test their vehicles in a range of terrain including soft sand and rocky outcrops, with the surety of having experienced Four Wheel Drive Queensland members on-hand to assist and guide where required or just for recovery.

These markets provide a variety of home made wares, skin care products, jewellery, food and some good old fashioned Rawleighs products. Local honey and home grown plants can also be found here. Food and drinks are available and the makings from this, as well as the stalls fees, are donated to help host the yearly event of the Country Music Festival.

Betoota Horse and Motorbike Gymkhana
