Bundaberg Country Weekend Drive

This journey measures some 350 kilometres long and lends itself to a leisurely weekend drive full of country pastures, ranges, bush walks, history and heritage.

Bundaberg to Cania Gorge Outdoors Weekend Drive

This delightful drive route winds from the cane city of Bundaberg out to stunning Cania Gorge, taking in tiny townships and quaint countryside along the way. You'll enjoy food, wine and rum (of course), historical buildings, vineyards, agriculture and mining, before marveling at the cliffs, gorges, caves and Aboriginal art of Cania Gorge National Park.

Gin Gin Drives

There are few prettier places to break your journey on the Bruce Highway than the country town of Gin Gin. Easy caravan parking in the wide main street allows access to the shady picnic tables, barbecues and toilets that are set amongst well-tended gardens.

Pacific Coast Way

WWI Memorial Journey - Bundaberg to Yeppoon

The journey from Bundaberg to Yeppoon, north east of Rockhampton, includes a number of different aspects of Queenslanders' war service, including commemorating war nurses at one of the Bundaberg Memorials, a visit to the museum of an early aviation hero and WWI veteran Bert Hinkler, a memorial which doubled as a union rallying point in the mining town of Mount Morgan and an avenue of trees representing those lost in WWI on the beachside at Yeppoon.

The Burnett Circle

Bundaberg to Eidsvold Weekend Drive

The incredible legend of RM Williams lays at the end of this drive which takes you from Bundaberg, past the Boolboonda Tunnel, out towards Mount Perry and onwards to Eidsvold. Measuring some 180 kilometres long, take your time to enjoy this peaceful corner of regional Queensland.

Bruce Highway - Buxton to Miriam Vale

The true adventure on the Bruce Highway begins through the Bundaberg North Burnett Region. From Buxton in the south through to Miriam Vale in the north.
