It attracted some 600 competitors in the first year and whilst the Festival ceased in 2000, the Eisteddfod has continued to grow – it is now the largest competition of its kind in the country staged in August and September each year.

The Dean Cogle Portrait prize proudly supported by Michelle Neumann offers AUD5000 first prize. The Exhibition will open on August 3, 2019 and run through to September 4, 2019. Founded by Dean Cogle in 2015, the inaugural exhibition held annually at Dust Temple began with humble beginnings.
