The Outback Fringe Festival is an inspiring event showcasing some of the incredible talent that the Quilpie Shire has to offer.

Local artists offer workshops and displays of their work for all to join in on. Performers and artists from further afield make the journey to hold demonstrations and workshops to introduce new skills and mediums to this town.

Busking, live music, shearing, food and drink, stalls and much more await you at the Outback Fringe Festival.

Limestone outcrops and dense, decorated caves are roosting sites for more than 80% of Australia's breeding population of little bent-wing bats. The park is also one of the few places in Australia that supports a colony of vulnerable ghost bats.
