Winton's Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival is a film festival like no other. It celebrates Australian film and culture under the stars of Winton in Outback Queensland. The Festival combines an incomparable program of classic and contemporary Australian films with special events, conversations and masterclasses with film makers, directors, actors and actresses, kids club and special events.

Join the stars on the red carpet for the ANZ Opening Night, or a location tours to the sites where major feature films were made. You can even enter your own film in the the Qantas Short Film Competition,

Films are screened every night under the stars in the historic, open air Royal Theatre in Winton's main street (one of only two remaining such theatres in Australia) and by day in the Shire Hall.

Keppel Bay Islands National Park

Keppel Bay Islands National Park protects 13 islands in the Keppel Group and is surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The islands are the traditional home of the Kanomi-Woppaburra people. Secluded beaches, plunging cliffs and diverse plant communities are just some of the attractions on offer.

Emu Park

Emu Park is situated along the Capricorn Coast, 45 kilometres east of Rockhampton. Emu Park is host to the Singing Ship, a monument overlooking the coast line. You can take a scenic drive of Yeppoon before arriving in Emu Park or drive straight from Rockhampton which passes the Koorana Crocodile Farm.
