Green Island Discovery

For a day of adventurous activities or island relaxation, your Green Island Discovery gives you the choice of three daily departures and up to seven hours on this tropical island paradise.

Discover the reef in a glass bottom boat and snorkel directly from the white sandy beaches (included activities). Nature lovers will be enchanted by island's lush rainforest and walking tracks. A delicious lunch or snacks can be purchased from the island's food and refreshment outlets.

As a Great Adventures guest, you'll enjoy many exclusive inclusions such as the use of the island swimming pool and a self guided eco island walk to discover some of the island's unique rainforest flora. The island's well-appointed day visitor facilities include a pool bar, plus refreshment and retail outlets.

Ocean Spirit Michaelmas Cay Cruise

Set sail from Cairns aboard Ocean Spirit, a beautiful 32m sailing catamaran, to the unique and pristine reef environment of Michaelmas Cay. Encircled by fringing reef teeming with colourful marine life including sea turtles and giant clams, it is also a protected seabird sanctuary. Access to the cay is restricted to preserve this special environment.

Snorkel directly from the beach in the cay's protected shallow waters, cruise in the semi-submersible for a diver's view of the reef, watch the fish feeding presentation and observe the fascinating island birdlife. The "beach buggy" will shuttle you between the boat and cay throughout the day. For the more adventurous, you can experience the underwater delights of the reef with an exciting introductory scuba dive. Guided snorkel tours are also available.
