With the Adventure Company enjoy an unforgettable day of fun, discovery and adventure exploring the majestic rainforest, pristine rivers and white sandy beaches of the World Heritage Listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree with professional, friendly and experienced guides.

Travel one of the most renowned scenic coastal roads in Australia. Take a brief tour of Port Douglas before visiting the Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat (Deluxe only) where you will observe, up close, kangaroos and other Australian animals. Have a photo opportunity with a koala.

Your journey continues to Mossman Gorge. Guests enjoy a guided rainforest walk and see the crystal clear waters of the Mossman River cascade over spectacular boulder formations amongst the lush rainforest. The journey continues through the scenic rainforest with a photo opportunity at Alexander Bay lookout. Enjoy a delicious lunch (Deluxe only) at Cape Trib Beach House, followed by a walk along this idyllic sandy beach at Cape Tribulation. Your guide will share the secrets of the rainforest, medicines and history during your guided tour.

On the return journey, visit the Daintree to enjoy a one hour river cruise meandering up the Daintree River spotting all types of flora and fauna. Overnight options also available.

The Adventure Company Starter Pak tour is designed for the budget conscious traveller, it contains all the ''must see'' attractions between Cairns and Cape Tribulation Beach. No lunch is included but there are opportunities to buy your own lunch at the many stops along the coast.

Tour includes return hotel transfers, free time in Port Douglas, a guided rainforest walk at Mossman Gorge to see the crystal clear waters of Mossman River cascade over spectacular boulder formations amongst the lush rainforest, Daintree River Ferry Crossing, a visit to Cape Trib Beach where you can kick back and relax under the fringing rainforest ''where the Rainforest meets the Reef'', a stop at Alexandra Bay Lookout, and a one hour Daintree River Cruise where you meander up the Daintree River to see wildlife at play in their native habitat.

Kaimkillenbun

The little town of Kaimkillenbun, has the longest single place name in Queensland and is known to the locals simply as 'The Bun'. Kaimkillenbun's closest major town is Dalby (24 kilometres to the south west) and it is a great place to stop in when driving to the Bunya Mountains.

Gordonbrook Dam is the sole water supply for Kingaroy and a peaceful spot to unwind. Originally built in 1941 as a water supply for the Royal Australian Air Force Training Base during WWII, the dam wall was raised in 1987 to inundate an area of 229 hectares - the dam we have today.

Maidenwell

Maidenwell is a charming village at the gateway to the Bunya Mountains. Stop in at the quaint country pub for a beer or relax over lunch and a coffee at the Maidenwell Trading Post (home to locally-grown Yalbury Olive products).
