This half day fully guided Castles, Cafe's and Cabernet bicycle adventure tour starts at a 'castle' deep within state forest. You'll stretch your legs first as you explore the eerie caves and take a short walk up to the lookout for the magnificent view. You'll then set off on your bike to experience the vastness of the region's apple orchards, small produce farms and vineyards.
You may encounter a local kangaroo or two on the quiet country roads not to mention the alpacas, cows, sheep and colourful bird life. You'll stop to taste locally made produce including farmhouse cheese at a working dairy farm and cheese factory and sample award winning wines right at the cellar door. This tour is fully guided and all purchases will be collected by our vehicle. Distance is approximately 18km. This tour is suitable for anyone who has a basic level of fitness and can ride a bike on sealed and unsealed roads. Tour includes morning tea and all tastings, bike, helmet and knowledgeable guide.
This exciting leisurely afternoon tour affectionately known as Bikes, Beers and Strange Birds is a must for wine connoisseurs and craft beer enthusiasts. This fully guided tour starts and finishes in Stanthorpe and takes in around 17 kilometres of scenic landscapes to the south-west.
On this tour they journey through the beautiful area of Severnlea. You will ride past well established fruit and vegetable farms and vineyards that change with every season. Quiet country roads take you to wineries where alternative varieties are on offer and their visit to a craft beer brewery will surely quench your thirst.

Arrive Friday afternoon/evening to check in to your accommodation before your cycling adventure begins on Saturday morning.

Depart Warwick Station at 08:00am for a leisurely morning heritage train journey.
Your Granite Belt Bicycle tour guide will greet you at The Summit station. Quality bicycles and a knowledgeable guide are provided as you explore the Granite Belt region on two wheels. The ride distance is 25km.
Firstly - morning tea! Did anyone say cheese? If cheese is your thing, you will love this first stop which includes cheesecake for morning tea; and as this stop is at a cheese factory, you get to sample the finest, farmhouse cheeses right where they are made. Yum !
Work it off by pedaling passed vast apple orchards on quiet, country roads. Further stops include liqueurs and wineries. Sample ‘strange bird’ wines at the cellar door. After the last winery stop we continue on as a gentle downhill gradient takes us in to the township of Stanthorpe where a late lunch has been arranged at a majestic old pub. Enjoy a leisurely lunch before making your way to Stanthorpe station for your return journey to Warwick. Arriving 6pm Warwick.
Enjoy the fresh country air and quiet roads on this fully guided cycling adventure tour. The picture perfect rural setting gives way to unspoiled Australian bush where you may see many species of birds. This tour takes you from Stanthorpe to the border-towns of Wallangarra and Jennings. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this undulating 50km ride.
Setting off from Stanthorpe you cycle out of town and around the back of Storm King Dam. Here you can see water birds and people fishing along the shoreline. In the summer months it's a great spot for swimming and boating. Once at the back of the dam the terrain changes and your journey on dirt roads begins. Spot rocky outcrops, kangaroos and colourful birds along your journey through the bush before stopping for refreshments.
Further along we call at a local winery where you may wish to sample their products. A picturesque ten kilometers now remains before enjoying an icy cold beer in the first and last pub in New South Wales. Then back across the border into Queensland for a well earned late lunch at the old railway station cafe. Afterwards our vehicle will transport you back to Stanthorpe.
