The Flyboard is a water jet powered machine which allows propulsion underwater and in the air while you are strapped into boot bindings on a wakeboard like device.

Under this board is a set of jets that redirects the water, which is pumped through the hose connected to a Jet-ski. You have full three dimensional movement and can experience flying through the air and diving through the water like no one has ever done before!

Flyboard Cairns is the Premiere Facility in North Queensland to learn to fly under their instruction and supervision. They have flown all ages from 12 to 75 in all ranges of health and fitness. If you give it a crack, they'll have you up and flying in 10 minutes. Whatever you do - Don't Let Gravity Stop You!

Our Tours

30 Minute Session

Their regular session is normally broken down into three parts. The first 10 minutes are spent learning to fly and control the board. This is followed by about 10 minutes of trick/stunt practice where you are instructed on some of the moves you can do with the Flyboard. The last 10 minutes is a freestyle session to allow you to express yourself as you fly through the air and water.

You can always extend your trip if you are enjoying it!

Each Flyboard Session offers private one-on-one instruction by a certified instructor. You need only bring a towel, spare change of clothes, swimming costume, and a sense of adventure! They supply wetsuits, helmets, flotation jacket and professional instruction in a safe learning environment. Give them a crack and they'll have you up and flying in less than 10 minutes.

While Flyboarding is new and unbelievable to see, it's very easy to learn how to Flyboard. Flyboard requires a bit of finesse and a bit of balance. They have flown all ages, fitness level and body types, so don't let gravity stop you!
