10 Days in the Towers

Charters Towers, Charters Towers Area

27 April – 6 May 2018 -

Free Entry

The 10 Days in The Towers Festival brings the historic North Queensland town of Charters Towers to life in a very unique way.

Staged during April each year, 10 Days in The Towers is a celebration of many things. To the fore is the sound of country music which can be heard daily in the town's many hotel bars and on the streets of the central business district as the popular buskers entertain shoppers and passers-by. But the 10 Days in The Towers is not only a country music festival - it is so much more than that. Locals and visitors also enjoy line dancing, bush poetry, talent quests, street procession, busking competition, ghost tales and historic tours during the period of the festival which includes the Country Music Festival.
