Tea Tree Cottage, located midway between the Daintree River and Cape Tribulation (20 minutes north), in an area of the Daintree Coast renowned for its biodiversity and uniqueness as a refuge for rare, ancient and endemic flora and fauna, is an ideal base for exploring the World Heritage-listed rainforest, the Daintree National Park and, the somewhat underplayed jewels of the Daintree Coast, the quiet, secluded and pristine beaches.

Our Rooms

Tea Tree Cottage

Comfortably sleeping up to five guests the house consists of to bedrooms and one main bathroom (including cast iron claw-footed bath) with separate toilet.

Bedroom one has a Queen bed and bedroom two has a combination of Double and single bunk style. The mezzanine can used as a study, reading room or can accommodate a fold-out bed for that extra guest. The large covered veranda provides an outdoor living/dining experience (with gas barbecue).

Expertly guided birdwatching and bushwalking festival for all ages and abilities! Eungella is located on the Clarke Range, approximately 65 kilometres west of Mackay in Central Queensland. The areas is important as it supports the only known population of Eungella honeyeater as well as many other rare and threatened birds such as the Squatter pigeon.
