Rosebrook Cottages are four private luxury cottages with fantastic views even from the spa, which is not in the bathroom but incorporated into the cottage to the ambience and romance of the cottage. They are only two minutes drive from the Maleny town centre and all the restaurants and craft shops.

Their cottages have real wood fires for the chill of the winter and flow through louvres for the summer breezes, All cottages have barbecues on the decks and two gas burners and electric skillet, microwave oven, hair dryers, ironing board and iron and full breakfast supplies are included in the tariff.

Imagine sitting watching the magnificent sunsets sipping on a chilled glass of bubbly in the spa or sitting on the spacious decks or in the morning watching the mist rise from the valleys. All this can be experienced at these cottages.

Our Rooms

Cottages have queen or king beds with wonderful views and a corner spa will glass around them so that you can relax in the spa and enjoy the views and the ambience of the cottage and in winter the glow of the real wood fire or on the deck and watch the ever changing scenery. Maybe a little wallaby will be grazing or a King Parrot may sit on the bird feeder. The sunset a bright red sky, the wonder of the stars on a clear night or the mist rising from the valley in the morning are all experiences at Rosebrook cottages.

Lake Callide

Lake Callide is located 12 kilometres from Biloela via sealed road and approximately 90 kilometres south-west of Gladstone via the Dawson Highway. While compact, the lake provides visitors with rewarding fishing - especially for golden perch (yellowbelly) and has in recent times been well stocked with barramundi.

150th Meridian

Located one kilometre east of Moura on the Dawson Highway, the 150th Meridian marker shows the position of the imaginary line (150 °E) on which Queensland (Eastern Standard) time is based. At the time of the equinox, a day is exactly 12 hours long anywhere on the Meridian line.

Goovigen

Goovigen is a small rural village in the region’s northern farming heartland. A short distance north-west of Jambin off the Burnett Highway, fewer than 300 people live in the town.
