A visit to the park in the cool hours of the early mornings and evenings will reward you with sightings of swamp and red-necked wallabies grazing on the grassy slopes. The park's rainforest gully provides a cool, moist environment with rock pools fed by permanent springs.
This area includes a medium walk on a graded track with some steep grades. Take in great views and vistas near the summit of Mount Cotton. Trek through rainforest-lined gullies and creek lines with open Grey Gum and Spotted Gum Forest.

Eddie Santaguiliana Way

Travel by train or drive to Cleveland and commence a walk to Thornlands via the Eddie Santaguiliana Way. The trail is primarily off road on constructed one metre to three metre footpath. Small sections are on suburban footpaths or on road cycleway.

This area includes multi-use trails on a graded track with some steep grades. It forms part of the Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area, one of the most intact natural koala habitat areas between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

There are various walking trails and guided tours offered at Redlands IndigiScapes Centre. Most areas are wheelchair friendly. You can have a picnic or barbecue in the vast grounds or enjoy a meal at the Tea Garden, set on an open verandah overlooking the bushland.

Coochiemudlo Island Foreshore

Circumnavigation of Coochiemudlo Island along the beach, foreshore area, shared road, footpath, past environmental reserves and Moreton Bay. The island supports a sizeable curlew community and has unique specimens of mature Bribie Island Pines, Scribbly Gums and Brush Box.
