Childers Ecolodge offers unique affordable accommodation in a country setting, with beautiful bushwalks, birdlife, farm animals, campfire, and wildlife on-site.

Choose from furnished double Eco-tents, some with ensuite, or quad rooms with share facilities, and make use of the shared kitchen and games rooms. Set on 28 acres all rooms have views over the bush and open onto a patio. Relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, sit in a hammock by the waterhole, toast marshmallows on the campfire or go for a bushwalk.

Excursions and day trips are organised around the local area including Wine Tours, Lady Elliot or Lady Musgrave reef day trips, wildlife parks, bushwalking, mountain biking, national parks, heritage Childers town, a gourmet ice-cream factory, and unique museums. Easy access to white sandy beaches as well as the attractions of nearby Bundaberg and Hervey Bay including Lady Elliot Island and Lady Musgrave Island.

Glenlyon Dam is ideal for wildlife viewing and many water sports including skiing, sailing and fishing. Fish species in the dam include Golden Perch, Murray Cod, Silver Perch, Jew and Spangled Perch. Camping sites, cabins and caravans are available at the Glenlyon Dam Tourist Park located at the waters edge.

Storm King Dam
