Bethany Cottages

Bethany Cottages are four self-contained cottages set up on the highest hill in the Kingaroy district. There are one bedroom cottages, a two bedroom cottage and a spa cottage to choose from. They cater from one to six guests in each. Enjoy the panoramic views from your private verandah. Bethany Cottages provides close proximity to all the conveniences of a modern country town but far enough away to enable you to sit back, relax and enjoy some quiet time. The cottages are pet friendly. In 2015 they added a three bedroom 'Farm House' which is available for long and short term rent. This has a full kitchen, laundry and yard for the children and doggies.

Tours of Queensland's most famous farm are available for you to learn more about the history of both the farm, the region with some political stories thrown in! Of course Pumpkin Scones are also served with a cuppa. Bethany Cottages is an easy 45 minute drive to the majestic Bunya Mountains and has many local wineries within a 45 minute radius.

Farm House

A newly renovated three bedroom house with full kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The house is fenced and has a deck with views up towards the hill and over the paddocks.

The One Bedroom Cottages have a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, accommodating up to four people.

2 Bedroom Cottage

This cottage has a queen bed in bedroom one, two singles in bedroom two and a sofa bed in the lounge, accommodating up to six people.

Spa Cottage

This Spa Cottage at Bethany Cottages is an open plan design and accommodates two guests only.

Kinkuna Section

Coonarr Beach is a 4.2 kilometre long, east facing beach that begins amongst the tidal shoals of the Elliott River mouth, then runs straight down to the smaller mouth of Coonarr Creek. Hoffman's Rocks is a colourful underwater playground just south of Bargara in the Woongarra Marine Park. The area is covered in hard and soft corals including gorgonian sea fans and pretty soft corals, and home to resting turtles, stingrays, gropers and wobbegong sharks.

Cochrane Artificial Reef Dive Site

The Cochrane Artificial Reef in the Woongarra Marine Park, is like something straight out of a movie. Just a short boat trip from shore, you'll find the impressive 50 metre 'Ceratodus II' and the 40 metre long 'Porteur' surrounded by two Mohawk aircraft and a Kingair aircraft, two lightships, and a criss-cross of concrete modules, pipes and other structures all taken over by coral and sea life.
