Competition one - Surprises along the Savannah Way

How many competitions are there?

There are five competition prizes to be won over five weeks via a weekly draw.

If I enter once, am I eligible for all competitions?

Yes, you only need to enter your details once to be on Queensland’s call list. Then we will be able to call you with good news if you’ve won any of the prizes. There will be one winner per prize draw.

Who are the competitions open to?

Residents of all Australian states and territories, and residents of New Zealand are eligible to enter the competitions.

When will the prize winners be drawn? 

Competition 1: Thursday 23 March

Competition 2: Thursday 30 March

Competition 3: Thursday 6 April

Competition 4: Thursday 13 April

Competition 5: Thursday 20th April

How long do I have to enter each competition?

You can sign up to be on Queensland’s call list at any time between 9am AEST Monday 16 March 2023 and 5pm AEST 19 April 2023. Refer to the individual competition draw dates for each prize.

How will I know you got my entry?

Keep an eye out for a text from Queensland if you're from Australia. New Zealand residents will receive  an email from Queensland.

How will I know if I have won?

Winners will be contacted via phone call on the draw date. If you do not answer, we will also send you an email requesting you get in touch. Once all prizes have been claimed, winner’s surname, first initial, State and postcode will be posted on Queensland.com.How long do I have to claim my prize? If the winner doesn’t respond within 7 days of contact, TEQ will redraw and select a new winner. For SA entrants only, a winner will have 14 days to claim their prize

Can I win multiple prizes?

You are only eligible to win one prize. If you win, you will be excluded for subsequent prize draws. Please note the order in which prizes are drawn.

Can I choose which prize I win if I am a winner?

There is a separate prize draw for each prize, so you are unable to select your prize.

What if I win but end up not being able to travel on those specific dates?

It is a condition of entry to the competitions that you and your travel party are available to travel on the specified travel dates. Please consider these dates upon entry to the competition.

Are all trip expenses included if I win a prize?

The competition prizes inclusions are as stated and there may be costs associated that are at the winner’s expense, such as food, unless stated in the prize inclusions. See the terms and conditions for all details.

Why do I need a mobile number to enter the competitions

We use mobile phone for verification of individual entries and to ensure we can contact and follow up entrants and winners via three separate methods (Call, SMS and Email).
