Pinnacles Resort is the ultimate luxury self-contained accommodation situated in Airlie Beach, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands.

Pinnacles will simply indulge your senses from every view point, with 29 stylish tropical uniquely designed and tastefully decorated one, two and three bedroom self-contained apartments. Each two and three bedroom apartment has a Jacuzzi built into its large terrace, while the one bedroom apartment has inside spa tubs.

There is much on offer, including a luxurious 20 metre wet edge ozone pool and easy access to cosmopolitan Airlie Beach, easy access to a variety of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, also the whole Whitsunday's area on your doorstep for any number of activities including diving and snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef. Onsite facilities also include gym, sauna(both traditional and infrared), tour desk and guest lounge facility.

Mungallala

Mungallala, said to mean 'food and water' is the site of a cypress sawmill, located about half way between Mitchell and Morven where the Warrego Highway crosses the Mungallala Creek. Mungallala originated as a railway town and is a wonderful place to stop for lunch and experience the workings of an outback town.

Saddliers Waterhole and Hamburg Creek

With a population of less than 250, Morven is thought to be named after a mountain and town of the same name in Scotland. Captain T.J. Saddlier and his wife arrived in the area in the 1860s and camped on a deep waterhole of nearby Hamburg Creek.
