Beaches

Discover surf spots like Double Island Point and Rainbow Beach, pick up some skills at a surf school and see the pros in action at the Noosa Festival of Surfing. Luxury lovers can head for the stylish enclave of Noosa, while families will love the beaches of Caloundra, Mooloolaba and Cotton Tree.

Hinterland and outdoors

Walk through the stunning Noosa National Park and kayak the gentle waterways of the Noosa Everglades. In the Hinterland, hike the jaw-dropping Glass House Mountains, discover sun-dappled waterfalls and look for the most-photographed paddock on the Sunshine Coast, One Tree Hill in Maleny.

Food and fresh produce

Eat your way around one of Queensland’s great foodie destinations. Start with the Noosa Food and Wine Festival in autumn, then follow the Sunshine Coast Food Trail to taste everything from cheese to boutique beer. Dine at award-winning restaurants where super-fresh local produce is the star.

Peter Phillips is one of the forefathers of Pop Art, who rose to fame in the 1960s alongside classmates David Hockney, Derek Boshier and Allen Jones. He has exhibited with such notable artists as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, and has work in reputable museum collections including the Tate Gallery, Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
