Kuranda Scenic Railway

Kuranda Scenic Railway is a spectacular journey combining unsurpassed views of World Heritage Listed rainforest, steep ravines and picturesque waterfalls. Constructed between 1882 and 1891 it is considered an engineering feat of tremendous magnitude. Hundreds of men were employed to build the 15 hand-made tunnels and 37 bridges that stand as a monument to the pioneers of Tropical North Queensland. This is one of the world's great railway journeys, one not to be missed.

The Inlander

Airlie Beach Race Week, is renowned amongst sailors Australia wide as a vibrant, exciting, fun and well run event. It is now the largest keelboat regatta staged on Queensland's mainland coast, last year attracting an equal size fleet to the 2015 Sydney to Hobart (108 vessels).
