Spirit of Gold Coast is a family run company with a passion for Humpback Whales. As one of the pioneers of Whale Watching on the East Coast of Australia, they aim to make your whale watching cruise a truly memorable experience!

Tours depart seven days a week, at 9am from Mariner's Cove Marina. Afternoon cruises (1pm) upon availability.

The show boating of the Humpback Whale is simply something that needs to be experienced so you can fully appreciate one of the most beautiful things the natural world has to offer!

Join Spirit of Gold Coast for a Whale Watching Cruise departing daily from late May to early November each year.

Tours depart at 9.30am (afternoon cruises upon availability) from Mariner's Cove Marina and include complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits upon arrival.

Hell's Gates

The dramatically named Hell’s Gates is a high bluff with spectacular views of the coastline north to Double Island Point and south over Alexandria Bay. Visit this area during July to November to view migrating whales.

Gardners Falls

Leave your vehicle in the car park on the banks of the Obi Obi Creek and take a short, level walk downstream to Gardners Falls.  You’ll pass a number of shallow rock pools which are ideal for smaller children who just want to splash about.
