River City Cruises is the original and best sightseeing cruise on the Brisbane River. During the one and a half hour guided tour, you will be entertained by the informative commentary while taking advantage of the fantastic photo opportunities as we cruise past Brisbane's most iconic sights including the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, City Centre and the Story Bridge. Daily departures 10.30am and 12.30pm - Jetty A South Bank Parklands. Take advantage of the onboard Coffee Shop and enjoy a Souvenir Map including other discount offers.

Visit Newstead House and The Breakfast Creek Hotel (Newstead House open Tuesday to Friday/ Breakfast Creek Hotel open everyday). Timings for hop off option: Disembark 11.15am - Reboard 1.15pm - Return to South Bank 2.00pm.

Local secret Wangetti Beach is just north of Palm Cove in Tropical North Queensland. Running from Slip Cliff Point to Red Cliff Point, the 4km of almost straight coastline has no facilities, with only a carpark on either end of the beach and a stretch of highway connecting them.

Mossman Gorge is a very accessible and scenic section of Daintree National Park, in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Crystal-clear water cascades over large granite boulders in the Mossman River gorge.

Mount Molloy

Mount Molloy was named to honour teamster Patrick Molloy who, in the mid 1880s, found the copper outcrop whilst searching for stray bullocks. Four years he worked it as a one man show, then amid murmurs of "claim jumping", it changed hands.

Julatten

Julatten is a place where you can have your cake and eat it too - in a manner of speaking. This small community on the road from Mossman to Mt Molloy has large orchards of lychees and mangoes plus a farm which sells Chinese greens and prawns.
