Noosa Everglades Discovery offers a range of premium wilderness cruises as well as canoeing experiences for guests to enjoy. Tours range from an Afternoon River Cruise to full day barbecue Lunch River Cruise, as well as adventurous self-guided overnight canoeing safaris into this spectacular region.

Cruise through the magnificent lakes and wetlands as you navigate your way into the mysterious and tranquil waters of the Noosa Everglades. Over 44 per cent of all Australia's bird species reside within this region. The spectacular Cooloola Coast stretches 65 kilometres from Noosa to Fraser Island. Cooloola's 56,600 hectare park is a refuge for plants, animals and birds including many endemic and endangered species and offers a diversity of natural landscapes. It is a remarkable ecological treasure evolved from sand washed north from the river systems of New South Wales over millions of years.

Explore, take a swim in the pristine waters, photograph the abundant wildlife or simply relax in this unique natural environment.

Noosa River Everglades Afternoon Cruise

Your afternoon cruise begins in the beautiful Noosa River and leads you on an intriguing journey of discovery. Cruise through the magnificent lakes and wetlands as you navigate your way into the mysterious and tranquil waters of the Noosa Everglades. Enjoy time out to explore the historic loggers camp at Harry's Hut, then relax under the trees and enjoy a delicious savoury platter. Tea and coffee also available.

Weave your way through ancient landscapes and narrow wetlands as you return back to Noosa by approximately 4.30pm.

Noosa River Everglades Barbecue Lunch Cruise

Cruise through the magnificent lakes and wetlands as you navigate your way into mysterious and tranquil mirrored waterways of the Noosa Everglades. Stop for morning tea in the bush surrounds at Fig Tree Point before re-boarding the boat and navigating into the Everglades. Enjoy a delicious Aussie barbecue lunch cooked by your skipper at historic Harry's Hut - a relic of the early timber cutting days. Barbecue lunch consists of your choice of Steak, Salt-water Barramundi Fillet or Vegetarian Option with beef sausages, a selection of fresh salads and bakery fresh bread.

The Bar-B-Canoe

Your adventure begins with a river cruise through the magnificent lakes and wetlands of the Noosa River to the start of the Noosa Everglades. Enjoy morning tea at the entrance to the Everglades - Fig Tree Point - then paddle upstream in your canoe through ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways and sub-tropical rainforest to re-join your tour group for a delicious Aussie barbecue lunch prepared by your tour guide in the tranquil surrounds of historic Harry's Hut. After lunch, experience the magnificent wonders of the Everglades, recognised as one of the most spectacular canoeing adventures in Australia - a place you must see to believe. Overnight Self Guided Canoe/Camping Safari

Your adventure begins with a four wheel drive transfer through the Cooloola National Park. Arrive at your campsite by the river and be greeted by their camp-coordinator. Grab your lunch prior to hopping back into a four wheel drive to Harry's Hut before paddling your canoe upstream through ancient landscapes and sub-tropical rainforests. Relax in this amazing wilderness area, go for a swim or for the more adventurous hike to the top of the Cooloola Sand patch, at a height of 221 metres it is the largest coastal sand dune in Australia. Marvel at the amazing views before hiking back down to meet your guide and return to camp. Settle in for a night around the campfire toasting marshmallows and learn how to make authentic Aussie damper.

Wake up with the local wildlife after your night at Elanda Point where you can enjoy a hot shower. Enjoy your riverside breakfast and a cuppa. Relax in this amazing wilderness area before waving goodbye to the campsite.

Local secret Wangetti Beach is just north of Palm Cove in Tropical North Queensland. Running from Slip Cliff Point to Red Cliff Point, the 4km of almost straight coastline has no facilities, with only a carpark on either end of the beach and a stretch of highway connecting them.

Mount Molloy

Mount Molloy was named to honour teamster Patrick Molloy who, in the mid 1880s, found the copper outcrop whilst searching for stray bullocks. Four years he worked it as a one man show, then amid murmurs of "claim jumping", it changed hands.

Julatten

Julatten is a place where you can have your cake and eat it too - in a manner of speaking. This small community on the road from Mossman to Mt Molloy has large orchards of lychees and mangoes plus a farm which sells Chinese greens and prawns.
