LARC About Amphibious Environmental Tours explore the majestic Pumicestone Passage and north western side of Bribie Island onboard an ex Vietnam war era LARC V amphibian learning about the local history, flora and fauna along the way.

They currently offer three tour options from Caloundra. It's safe, fun and all together a different experience.

Tours depart on demand from the Short Street boat ramp just behind the BIG 4 holiday park at the bottom of the main street in Caloundra; this departure point is just a short walk along the coastal walkway from Caloundra's Central Business District and restaurants of Bulcock beach. Buses can park on site.

Experience the Northern Reaches of Pumicestone Passage on the North Western side of Bribie Island it's fun relaxing and informative.

Come and see what a great place they have there in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast whilst experiencing the wonders of LARC travel and learn about the region's history flora, fauna and above all have fun!

They are also available for charter. Trips are on demand and minimum numbers apply.

Mooloolah River National Park, Jowarra Section

This park on the banks of the Mooloolah River, protects one of the few remaining coastal rainforest areas in this region. Also known as Jowarra, this is an important home for wildlife, including the wompoo fruit-dove, eastern yellow robin and the vulnerable Richmond birdwing butterfly.
