Go Vertical provides Board hire, Instruction and Tours in Surfers Paradise. Stand Up Padding is relatively easy to learn, fun to do and provides a gentle exercise to achieve fitness and toning. You will achieve a sense of well being on the water, taking in the natural beauty around you. Spot peacocks and dolphins along with other birdlife. It is fun for all the family and easy for all age groups and fitness levels.

Our Tours

Let them introduce you to stand up paddle boarding. They will go through step by step instruction to get you up standing and paddling like a champion before you know it. After a safety briefing and a quick demonstration you will be ready to go.

Their lesson duration is one hour and all equipment is supplied. All you need to do is "slip slop and slap" and you're ready to learn to paddle board. They will show you just how easy it is, with instruction you will learn different stances and paddle technique and turns.

Once you have your balance they will gently guide you through the calm waterways of Surfers Paradise on an easy paddle adventure. You will love it!

Ages 8 to 80 however you must be able to swim.
Group discounts on four or more paddlers.

Paradise SUP Tour

Stand up Paddle Tour duration is two hours - Location in the heart of Surfers Paradise on the river.

Times vary depending on bookings - After a safety briefingand& basic lesson they'll launch the boards on the River and commence the paddle. Meander up to the high rises of Surfers Paradise and get a photo or two of the group on the boards with a majestic backdrop of Surfers Paradise.

Then you'll gently make your way back down the river through the canals into Macintosh Island park where you will paddle past the mangroves spotting sea-life and bird-life. There is an abundance of bird life here including a family of Peacocks that are spotted most days. See the Gold Coast from a different perspective... you will find stand up paddling along the waterways both fun and calming! Keep an eye out for a dolphin or two!
