Our Tours

Visit Hamilton Island in the morning and Whitehaven Beach in the afternoon, or vice-versa - the choice is yours.

At Hamilton Island, jump on a shuttle bus and tour around the island. The driver will tell you tall tales and true of the things you see stopping off at some spectacular scenic lookout points. The shuttles circuit the island all day so hop on and off as you please.

Go walking, bowling, hire a golf buggy or visit the boutiques and galleries. There is a generous choice of swimming pools, including the Main Pool with its swim-up bar or hit the long sandy curve of Catseye Beach for seaside fun. Be sure to visit the Hamilton Island Wildlife Park too!

Enjoy a pub lunch at Marina Tavern or two-course multi choice lunch at Manta Ray Cafe. Right on the waterfront, the colonial-style Marina Tavern has outdoor tables and expansive covered decks.

Whitehaven Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, stretches for a spectacular seven kilometres. The sand is almost 100 per cent silica, which gives it a vivid white colour. Have a swim in azure waters or entertain yourself with beach games in the sand.

Cruise through the Maritime National Park before stepping ashore at two of the region's best Resort islands; Daydream Island and Hamilton Island.

Visit Daydream Island in the morning and kick your day off feeding sharks and stingrays in the Living Reef Lagoon. Daydream Village at the southern end of the island has been especially developed with day visitors in mind. Set around the swimming pool is a bakery, watersports, dive shop and souvenir boutique. There are tennis courts, a children's playground and an 'Around Australia' mini-golf course - definitely not just for the kids!

After a morning on Daydream, cruise to world-renowned Hamilton Island for lunch and an afternoon of exploring. First enjoy a two-course meal at the Marina Tavern, right on the waterfront. There are outdoor tables and expansive covered decks so you can eat in the shade or sun depending on your preference.

Hamilton Island is an expansive island with 75 per cent of the island still in its natural state. Go walking, bowling or visit the boutiques and galleries. Great Barrier Reef Adventures

The Great Barrier Reef is truly one of the great wonders of the natural world and a "must-see" for any visitor to the region. Formed millions of years ago, this colourful living reef continues to grow and flourish just off the coast from the Whitsundays. Hundreds of different types of fish and hard and soft coral thrive in the sheltered lagoon.

Discover the underwater wonderland at one of the regions most acclaimed outer Great Barrier Reef sites. They have two pontoons at two different sites and you will visit one site on the day you travel. Their innovative reef pontoons feature an interactive underwater viewing chamber, semi-submersible and a spacious sun deck to lounge on. The colourful corals and abundance of marine life will blow you away as you enjoy sheltered snorkelling and diving all year round.

Cruise through the magnificent Whitsunday islands to Hamilton Island Resort, the perfect place for a great family day out.

Staff will meet you at the marina and direct you to the Hamilton Explorer shuttle buses. After a short trip over the hill, the fun begins with a visit to the Hamilton Island Wildlife Park. Enjoy a guided tour of the unique Australian sanctuary at 10 am or 4 pm daily or wander at your leisure.

After the wildlife experience board the shuttle bus again and enjoy a circuit of the island stopping off at some of the spectacular scenic lookout points and finishing at the Marina Village. First up, test your skill on the Palm Valley Go Kart racetrack. This challenging nine turn track uses the latest in computer controller lap timing allowing you to race your mates and race the clock. There are tandem karts available for families.

After screaming around the race track, experience a 30 minute thrill ride on Jetryder - a hulking jet boat that twists, turns and fishtails with amazing power.

Whitehaven Beach is a definite 'must see' in the Whitsundays. The crystal clear aqua waters and pristine white silica sand stretch for over seven kilometres along Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. No other day cruise allows you this much time to explore the wonders of Whitehaven Beach!

Enjoy a leisurely cruise along the full length of the beach, across Hill Inlet to a landing point. From here a guided walk following the path and history of the Whitsunday traditional owners, the Ngaro people, will lead you to the lookout and that picture postcard view! If sea conditions permit, cross over to Esk Island and if the tide is right, there is a small reef area to snorkel.

On return to the southern end of Whitehaven you may choose to enjoy some other walks, wander along the beach to your own secluded stretch, laze on the beach or cool off in the azure waters.

Cruise Whitsundays operates a 'Resort Connections' service in the Whitsundays. This service connects Great Barrier Reef Airport at Hamilton Island to Daydream Island Resort and Spa, Airlie Beach and Long Island.

It also connects Whitsunday Coast Airport at Proserpine through to Daydream Island, Long Island and Hamilton Island, and connections between the islands and the mainland.

The service provides a seamless, hassle free and fast transfer for arriving and departing guests with modern, purpose built vessels.

The ferries are comfortable vessels with air-conditioning, plasma screens providing information on resorts and The Whitsundays, a bar serving real coffee and a full range of drinks and snacks.

Reefsleep is the only place in Australia where you can sleep on the Great Barrier Reef! Enjoy two days of unlimited snorkelling, one night at the pontoon and an experience of a lifetime!

Reefsleep is an extension of their popular Great Barrier Reef Adventure Day Cruise. Guests on the Reefsleep experience travel to their Reefworld pontoon onboard their high-speed reef vessel with day cruise passengers. Arrival at the pontoon is around 11am.

Enjoy all the wonderful activities on offer including snorkelling, swimming, semi-sub rides, viewing fish from the underwater observatory and sunbathing on deck. Whitehaven Beach and Snorkelling Adventure

Chalkies Beach lies a short boat hop away from Whitehaven Beach. Its gorgeous white sandy beach, with easy all tide access to the fringing reef offers fantastic drift snorkelling with a myriad of different coral and fish life. Turtle sightings are also frequent. The time of day spent at Chalkies will vary for you to snorkel at the optimum tide – your crew will advise on the day.

Pinnacles, The

Arguably the best dive site in the Whitsundays, with hard corals comparing favourably to those seen on the outer Great Barrier Reef. The best dive is off the western beach, adjacent to the Woodpile and swim east at a depth of seven to 15 metres.

A popular bareboat anchorage, Butterfly Bay is situated on the northern side of Hook Island. There are limited public moorings and snorkelling can be enjoyed along the bay edge or just off the beach. Offering coral outcrops with shallow walls, the bay is populated by many small, colourful reef fish species.

Cedar Creek Falls

You will find Cedar Creek Falls about half way between Airlie Beach and Proserpine on Saltwater Creek Road. Set in a natural rock amphitheatre, you will enjoy spectacular waterfalls in the wet season and abundant flora and fauna including majestic white cedar trees, Alexandra Palms, wild orchids, colourful butterflies and many beautiful birds.

Ngaro Cultural Site

The Ngaro people have walked this land for over 9,000 years. Protected from the elements in a once-hidden cave, Ngaro artwork adorns the fragile rock surface. The track begins deep inside Nara Inlet on Hook Island — an excellent overnight anchorage.

Maureens Cove, Hook Island

Situated on the northern side of Hook Island, Maureen's Cove is a popular anchorage with sailors and divers alike. There are two dive sites at Maureen's Cove. At the back of the cove, on the western side of the beach is a series of bommies starting at 12 - 15 metres and rising to within three metres of the surface, parallel to the shoreline.

Langford Island

Langford Island, near Hayman Island in the northern Whitsundays is a popular spot with sailors, divers and snorkellers. Many of the bareboats and crewed sailing boats will anchor near Langford Island. Langford Island is relatively small, but features a long sand spit that all but disappears at high tide.

Conway National Park is a peaceful coastal park with rainforest-clad hills, secluded beaches and panoramic outlooks over the scenic Whitsunday area. Nara Inlet

Nestled in the south east end of the Whitsundays’ Hook Island is Nara Inlet, a secluded bay with tranquil waters that reflect the dense forestry that covers the island’s steep hills. The clear water acts as a window to the fringing reef and is known for its sheltered anchorage and easy access to the island.
