Cross Country Tours

Multiple Locations

There's an old line, "We're here for a good time, not a long time!" and on a Cross Country tour, no matter how long or short, they take a long time to make sure you have a good time.

Even a short time spent with Cross Country Tours illustrates the difference between destinations and experiences, as their staff members do much more than show you around Australia or the world. Their guides become your hosts, sharing their love of the people you'll meet and the places they'll take you.

This is a time in life to explore Australia, not just drive around. If your interests run to vintage aircraft and steam trains, or national parks and wildlife, Cross Country Tours has holidays to make the best of your time on tour.

After all, a large part of what you spend on your holiday is time, and a good holiday is time well spent with Cross Country Tours.

Our Tours

Robotic Dairy Day Tour

The Scenic Rim Robotic Dairy is a fourth generation dairy farm which was established in 1936. Back then cows were hand milked and the milk was delivered by horse and cart, door to door. A lot has changed since then. In 2010, this farm saw Queensland's very first LELY Robotic Dairy System installed - and now, the cows are milked by robots!

Their tour today will offer a unique and fascinating insight into how technology is changing the face of dairy farming. There is also an opportunity to purchase a bottle of farm fresh milk as the dairy began processing its own brand - Scenic Rim 4 Real Milk - at the beginning of June 2013. All purchases can be stored in their on board refrigerator for the journey home. Morning tea, entry and lunch at a local club are all included.
