Whitsunday Crocodile Safari

Multiple Locations

See Estuarine Crocodiles in the wild in the Whitsundays.

There is more to the Whitsundays than just reef and islands. Estuaries and wetlands skirt the coastline near Proserpine River which is home to many species of native birds, mammals, reptiles and marine animals.

Whitsunday Crocodile Safari provides a very unique "Australian Nature Experience". Operating from their campsite base, which is established on the bank of Proserpine River, guests can cruise in pristine crocodile habitat, explore a mangrove ecosystem and travel through a melaleuca forest and freshwater wetland environment.

They offer guests a professional, well managed (all weather) day tour with expert commentary, delicious barbecue lunch and traditional Australian Billy Tea and Damper.

The campsite features a covered seating area with tables and toilet facilities and complementary cold water and refreshments are also available.

As an owner-operated tour, excellent customer service and attention to detail is guaranteed.

Established in 2000, Whitsunday Crocodile Safari is a Green Travel Leader, and has held Advanced Certification with Ecotourism Australia since 2002.
