A choice of a luxury high speed 20 metre CAT - "Ocean Freedom" to two stunning locations - Upolu Cay Reef and Wonder Wall on the Outer Edge of Upolu Reef or a beautiful, classic 16 metre sailing vessel "Ocean Free" to the Great Barrier Reef and famous Green Island. These are two extremely personal tours carrying low passenger numbers offering more of a day out with family and friends than a commercial tour.

On Ocean Freedom enjoy six hours of reef activities. Sail on Ocean Free and be pampered for four and a half hours (only 25 guests maximum) exploring the reef and island. For the discerning traveller wanting a truly friendly, customer-oriented, personal reef experience

Our Tours

Ocean Free - a beautiful 16 metre sailing vessel is the only small, personal tour to Green Island and the Great Barrier Reef (25 guests maximum)! Sail to their exclusive mooring on Pinnacle reef just one kilometre off Green Island. Snorkel on their private protected Marine Park reef site at any time just off the boat where the "bommies" (coral outcrops) come to one metre under the surface for easy viewing of the reef life. Turtles and black-tipped reef sharks (totally harmless) are a common sight .

All snorkelling tuition, in-water assistance, top snorkel equipment (including comfortable snorkel jackets) and great smorgasbord lunch are included in price. Personal first time or certified diving offered as an optional extra.

After lunch explore Green Island or just relax on the pristine beach around it. The amount of time spent diving, snorkelling off the boat or exploring, relaxing on Green Island is your choice! They transfer you from their vessel straight to Green Island Beach . Experience outstanding customer service with their attentive crew and enjoy complimentary fresh fruit, cheese and cake platters and a glass of wine on the sail home (wind prevailing!).

Wooroolin Wetland

From the D'Aguilar Highway an unsealed 16 kilometre scenic forest drive leads through rainforest, hoop pine plantations and eucalypt forests containing blackbutt, tallowwood, white mahogany, gums and ironbarks to small flats beside the inviting waters of Emu Creek.

Bunya Mountains National Park

The Bunya Mountains National Park is perched 1100 metres high and 200 kilometres north-west of Brisbane and considered Queensland's second-oldest national park being gazetted in 1908. It's there ancient rainforest-clad peaks stand tall and shelter the world's largest formation of bunya pines (Araucaria bidwillii) - once a popular meeting place for Aboriginal folk to gather nuts in the 1800s.

Boat Mountain Regional Park

Jimna State Forest

Jimna State Forest has had a colourful history of gold mining and timber milling. The last flurry of mining, in the 1940s, yielded 2.8 kilograms of gold. Attractions include creeks, log bridges and wildlife including platypus and many species of birds.

Gordonbrook Dam

The Dam is the sole source of water supply for Kingaroy; it was built in 1941 to provide water for the Royal Australian Air Force Training Base during WWII. In 1987 due to increased demand the dam wall was raised and the inundated area is now 229 hectares.

Located on the Inner Gneerings off Mooloolaba, the Coral Gardens are like a small section of the Great Barrier Reef on the Sunshine Coast. Lovely hard and soft corals rule this reef in depths from 10 to 15 metres, with the site topography dominated by a series of gutters.
