Those seeking a personal and quality sailing experience in the Whitsunday Islands without the crowds need to look no further than ISail Whitsundays. This independent business is owned by a sailing family who share a genuine passion for sailing. The vessels Iceberg, Blizzard and On Ice are well maintained and offer unique sailing tours. Each tour sails, visits magnificent Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout and makes at least two snorkel stops at pristine fringing reef locations. ISail also offers private skippered charters catering for families, sports clubs and water sports enthusiasts.

Iceberg, is a 52 foot sports yacht. Maximum 12 passengers; two days over one night tours of 32 hours (three tours per week).

Blizzard, is a 50 foot sailing yacht, built in 2011. She further carries a seascooter. Maximum 10 guests; two days over two nights tours of 46 hours (three tours per week).

On Ice is a 46 foot sailing catamaran. She provides a comfortable sailing experience as well as carrying an array of the latest water sports equipment: Stand Up Paddle boards, sea scooter and glass kayak; two days over two nights tour of 46 hours (three tours per week).

Our Tours

Blizzards design was born out of a vision of sailing ease without compromises. She features the latest exterior and interior design. Innovative, spacious, bright and sophisticated, this new yacht offers cruising the turquoise waters of the Whitsundays with infinite confidence.

Experience sailing with unknown ease, but with the speed of a modern performance yacht. Enjoy magnificent views as time flies by in a dream of blue water and green islands. And when you hear your inner call for "action", unroll the movie star inside you: Go snorkelling and ride the sea scooter to find Nemo .

Blizzard features the latest yacht design, inside and outside. The boat consists of two ensuite private double cabins, two private double/twin cabins and two single berths (one shared bathroom/toilet facility).

Blizzard departs every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday on a two days tour over two nights. Departures are from Abell Point Marina at 4pm, return after approximately 46 hours at 2pm.

On Ice is a 14.2 metre sailing catamaran taking a maximum of 10 guests. Her huge foredeck is perfect for relaxing while the boat is under sail. The aft deck is protected from the weather so guests can escape the elements without having to move indoors. The saloon features large panoramic windows allowing you to enjoy the views while feasting on the fabulous creations served up from the galley.

The Whitsundays provide many amazing snorkelling locations. The colourful corals and most abundant marine life are close to the surface, so all one needs to do is put on a mask and snorkel to be amazed by the underwater world.

On Ice further offers SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding), a seascooter for effortless snorkelling and a glass-kayak.

The tour visits Whitehaven Beach and the Hill Inlet lookout every time and stops at least in two pristine fringing reef snorkelling locations.

Iceberg was built as a fast racer-cruiser. Constructed from alloy she is light and strong. Design features include flat decks, full headroom throughout. Iceberg accommodates 12 guests in five separate accommodation spaces. Including two private double cabins and one private twin.

Guest will enjoy a sailing experience which is second to none, Iceberg's crew have a motivated love of sailing and work hard to ensure this adventure is the highlight of your holiday.

Iceberg will visit Whitehaven Beach, the Hill Inlet Lookout platform and at least two of the best reefs for snorkelling in the Whitsundays.

Participation in the sailing is welcome but not compulsory.

Pinnacles, The

Arguably the best dive site in the Whitsundays, with hard corals comparing favourably to those seen on the outer Great Barrier Reef. The best dive is off the western beach, adjacent to the Woodpile and swim east at a depth of seven to 15 metres.

Blue Pearl Bay

Blue Pearl Bay is located on the north-western side of Hayman Island in the Whitsundays Group. Popular with tourists and locals for snorkelling, diving and sightseeing, Blue Pearl Bay is known for its coral and fish life including a resident Maori Wrasse.

Butterfly Bay - Hook Island

A popular bareboat anchorage, Butterfly Bay is situated on the northern side of Hook Island. There are limited public moorings and snorkelling can be enjoyed along the bay edge or just off the beach. Offering coral outcrops with shallow walls, the bay is populated by many small, colourful reef fish species.

Ngaro Cultural Site

The Ngaro people have walked this land for over 9,000 years. Protected from the elements in a once-hidden cave, Ngaro artwork adorns the fragile rock surface. The track begins deep inside Nara Inlet on Hook Island — an excellent overnight anchorage.

Whitehaven Beach

Whitehaven Beach is a pristine, award winning beach on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands in the Whitsundays. Whitehaven Beach stretches over seven kilometres and boasts brilliant white silica sand that is among the purest in the world.

Maureens Cove, Hook Island

Situated on the northern side of Hook Island, Maureen's Cove is a popular anchorage with sailors and divers alike. There are two dive sites at Maureen's Cove. At the back of the cove, on the western side of the beach is a series of bommies starting at 12 - 15 metres and rising to within three metres of the surface, parallel to the shoreline.

Langford Island

Langford Island, near Hayman Island in the northern Whitsundays is a popular spot with sailors, divers and snorkellers. Many of the bareboats and crewed sailing boats will anchor near Langford Island. Langford Island is relatively small, but features a long sand spit that all but disappears at high tide.

Nestled in the south east end of the Whitsundays’ Hook Island is Nara Inlet, a secluded bay with tranquil waters that reflect the dense forestry that covers the island’s steep hills. The clear water acts as a window to the fringing reef and is known for its sheltered anchorage and easy access to the island.

Airlie Creek Track, The

The 850 metre Airlie Creek Track slowly winds up the hill behind Airlie Beach along a gravel path, featuring rare flora and fauna such as the Whitsunday Bottle Tree and the endangered Proserpine Rock Wallaby which are only found in this region.
