Located at the Vineyard Cottages just out of Stanthorpe, on Queensland’s Granite Belt, The Vineyard Cafe is housed on the site of an old Presbyterian church. The 1906 edifice still features its original glass windows, which provides additional warmth and colour to the space. Dine on a succinct Modern Australian menu, which also features a dedicated children's menu. The kitchen focuses on sourcing local and organically grown produce, which means you can be assured of the healthiest dishes possible.

Twisted Gum Wines craft small quantities of premium quality single vineyard wines from their hand-tended dry grown Granite Belt vineyard. You will receive a warm welcome when you visit their stylish cellar door, located in a classic 1920s Queenslander with wrap-around verandahs on three sides, with views to the vineyards and hills beyond. The cellar door is open weekends 10am to 4pm and also by appointment. You can experience their full flavoured crisp white wines, a hugely popular Pink Moscato and their signature deep inky-purple red wines - you are sure to find something to excite your palate.

Pyramids Road Wines is one of the unique wineries on the Granite Belt. Nestled in the foothills of Girraween National Park, the vineyard and winery produce truly hand made wines. The decision to purchase their property was made whilst sitting on top of one of the Pyramids in the National Park overlooking the beautiful valley and their property below. Experience this, hands on production process of picking, crushing and pressing during the vintage months from March to May. Take a tour anytime of the year and talk with the winemaker about the wine making process or view the winery from the viewing area in the cellar door. Tantalise your taste buds with varieties like Verdelho, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet and Muscat as well as our Strange Bird varieties of Mourvedre and Petit Verdot. Curl up in front of the fireplace during the winter months with a glass of Pyramids Road wine.

Located in the picturesque hills above Glen Aplin The Bramble Patch is a food lovers paradise. Visitors are offered a range of over 50, multi-award winning, gourmet preserves including jams, coulis, sauces, chutneys, vinegars, fruit pastes and fortified berry wines. All products are made on the premises and are available for tasting in the beautiful showroom. Guests can also choose from a delicious selection of berry desserts including waffles, poffertjes, sundaes and freshly made berry icecreams. These can be enjoyed indoors next to the log fire during Winter or outside in the manicured gardens during the warmer months. Groups are welcome and specific catering is available upon request.

Symphony Hill Wines is a family-owned boutique winery located in the cool climate Ballandean highlands of Queensland's Granite Belt. They have been rated 5 stars by James Halliday for the last three years. 58 different wines have been rated 4.5 stars or more for last 8 years. In his latest 2015 Wine Companion, James Halliday has rated 6 of their wines 5 stars with their flagship Reserve Shiraz scoring an amazing 96 points. This score is just one point behind Penfolds Grange. Their flagship red is their 5 star Reserve Shiraz which has won top gold medals at both Sydney and Melbourne Royal Wine Shows, and has been nominated for two trophies at 2011 Royal Melbourne for Best Single Vineyard Wine and Best Shiraz trophies. The Jimmy Watson winner beat them for the Best Rhone Style Shiraz trophy with the narrowest of margins. The wine was selected to be served to the Royal couple when they visited Brisbane in early 2014. Their flagship white is their 5 star Gewurztraminer which has been awarded Best Single White Variety Trophies at 2014 Royal Queensland and Melbourne Wine Shows.

Suttons Juice Factory and Cidery

Sutton's Juice Factory and Cidery offers the visitor the opportunity to experience the thrill of picking their own tree ripened apples and eating them as fresh as they can possibly be. Sutton's produce a unique range of gourmet apple juices, with varieties such as Royal Gala, Jonathon, Granny Smith, Mutsu, Sundowner and Pink Lady. Always in demand are the apple juice mixes such as Apple and Ginger, Apple and Orange and Apple and Beetroot Juice. Sparkling apple cider is also available in dry or semi dry. Pure apple syrup is the latest product to be introduced. It has an intense flavour suitable for both sweet and savoury dishes. Sutton's apple cider vinegar is naturally fermented and aged on the farm itself and their distillery is the only one on the Granite Belt. They manufacture apple brandy as good as any you will find in the world. The Shed Cafe focuses on apple products as well as fresh and regional produce. The apple pie served with apple cider ice cream has become a must have for visitors to this unique establishment and good home style food cooked on site pleases the most discerning palates.
The Queensland College of Wine Tourism incorporates Varias Restaurant and Conference Centre and Banca Ridge winery. A beautiful contemporary foyer with interpretive gallery leads you to Varias Restaurant and Banca Ridge cellar door. Sample the Banca Ridge wines and learn more about the success of the Queensland Wine Industry. Set amongst vineyards and fruit trees overlooking a dam, this destination can cater for groups up to 130 people.

Aloomba Lavender

Aloomba Lavender Farm Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop on the Mount Lindesay Road (three to four kilometres north of Liston) is within a 4,000 acre cattle property set in picturesque rolling hills, close to Tenterfield, Stanthorpe, 50 plus wineries, five national parks (Girraween, Bald Rock, Boonoo Boonoo, Queen Mary Falls, Sundown), Undercliffe Falls, orchards. The 20,000 established lavender plants form a pretty pattern whether in flower or not (great opportunity for photographs). Aloomba Lavender, Bed and Breakfast, coffee and gift shop has award winning Essential Lavender Oil and lavender products for purchase. The well stocked gift shop and the tranquil bed and breakfast rooms are very popular. Bus groups and casual visitors are received in a friendly, family atmosphere for Devonshire teas and good coffee. Harvesting begins in mid November. An informative talk is available for larger groups by arrangement. Approximately three hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, they're close to Queensland's Granite Belt wine country and Stanthorpe.
